Areas of Newport Harbor:

Main Harbor: North of the main channel as you enter Newport harbor between Goat Island and downtown. Newport Yacht Club is in the Main harbor.

Point Section: North of the Main harbor, the Goat Island causeway, and the Newport Shipyard, and off of Washington Street

The Spindle: South of the main channel as you enter Newport harbor, east of the Ida Lewis Yacht Club, and off of lower Thames Street and Wellington Avenue where the stone pier is

Brenton Cove & Fort Adams: South of the main channel as you enter Newport Harbor. Fort Adams State Park is on the western side. Ida Lewis Yacht and New York Yacht Club are in Brenton Cove.

Rental Information:

The season is contracted for May 15, 2012 to October 15, 2012

The rate is $98 per foot and there is a 20 foot minimum charge.

Launch service is included in the seasonal rate. (see Schedule)

We do not own any parking but there are several pay to parking lots in the area, which are listed below.

There are pay shower & laundry facilities located one wharf over at the Seaman's Church Institute.
We also offer monthly rentals, reservations are available starting March 15th.

Mooring Restaurant Lot

  • $ 34.50 per day applies to 8:00 am – 2:00 am
  • Hourly until 3:30 pm: $3.00/first ½ hour + $2.25/each additional ½ hour
  • After 3:30 pm to 2:00 am: Varying flat rate
  • No overnight parking
